Creating memories...
It’s all about family...
The “Tropezian backgammon” was the idea of a local lady and her daughter who wanted to perpetuate the tradition of playing backgammon. This love for the game had been passed down to them by their father and grandfather who adored beautiful objects. In 1980 he acquired a “backgammon table” made by a local craftsman.
... and friendship
when one day a childhood friend from the local village of Sainte-Maxime came to visit. Her idea quickly turned into a project, an adventure and a brand name. Suddenly people of all ages began playing backgammon on the village square and in the golf club house. The local population grew up with the vibrations of this board game being played.
Special moments shared with others
“It is really important to us is that people enjoy relaxing moments together around a board game that can be passed down to the next generation. Around a beautifully decorative and original object.”
“This whole adventure is reminiscent of the endless and fascinating games played in the Byblos Hotel, on Pampelonne Beach, at the Moorea bar and of the wonderful picnics on the Salins beach.”
